Of all the employer concerns these days, the issue of loyalty comes up often. Usually in the context of management complaining that today’s employees aren’t loyal. The problem comes when management then decides what today’s employees need so they will be loyal. While they may be right on in some cases, too often, management’s perception of what employees want or need is way off target.
So before you spend hours in meetings with your management team trying to decide what your organization can do to generate more loyalty, try taking a look at this issue from a different perspective: the employee’s perspective.
